Southland Speech Contest

Imogen has had a busy term she started off by winning the Salford School Speech Competition.

Which earned her a place in the Zone Finals where she placed second and sent her to the Southland Finals where she  placed Second and qualified for the Grand Finals for Southland.

On Wednesday night Imogen Hammond competed in The Venture Southland Speech Finals. This was a competition held for all Year 5 and 6 students throughout Southland.

Imogen delivered a speech entitled
“Give me a break”
Which is all about that lifelong struggle of deciding what you want to be when you grow up. Her amazing performance resulted in a 3rd place finish.

Salford is so proud of this result Imogen as we are all aware of how much effort you have put in. Awesome!
